History:

Oh, Salt Lake City was so nice before this ever happened...

Mining always took place near Salt Like City, but it never proved fatal...Well, fatal for the city itself. But, it did. In 1999, a party of miners went down an old abandoned tunnel. The team made it near 1,000 feet below the surface before they started to get picked off, one by one. By what? The meganuron, an prehistoric race of bugs, related to the modern dragon fly.

But, as the remaining team made their way to down the path, the tunnel slowly turned upward, to the top of the mountain. There, they found what would be the apex predator in this prehistoric tunnel way...

RODAN! The great terror of the skies. This wasnt a mutant, this was a creature that lived many years ago. But, Rodan's food supply began to lessen in recent years, so he used his massive strength to break free of the rocky cage. He had broken through the mountain and his senses led him to the closest human populace....but, another one soon revealed itself...Rodan's mate...

After a strong airforce assault, Rodan's mate was killed and his was enraged. He destroyed most of Salt Lake City and returned back to his rocky prison. Carpet bombing later covered up the prison...

But, he would soon return when the King would make his way to the west.
